In picture 1, my master tempo is the same in the "new bpm" parameter in the time stretch module, how it should be, because thats what i want to change the bpm of my track to. When you set your master tempo, that is reflected in the "new bpm" of the settings of the time stretch parameter in the sampler. Thank you all for your help in assisting me with my severe retardation If you get confused, then please just read the bolded paragraph and the last paragraph, because i even confused myself. OK guys, I am not sure if this makes any sense. I'm not sure if i'm just doing something wrong When i apply the stretch at these settings (source bpm = 104.1, new bpm = 65, length = 4 bars), since you are changing the source BPM down from 104.1 to 65, you'd think that it would stretch it to be slower. But maschine actually speeds it up to a higher BPM which i cannot comprehend. Now, any manipulation in regards to the stretching the intended sample is thrown off because the source bpm is absolutely false. All of a sudden, Maschine detects the source BPM as 104.1 (but the tempo of my sample is NOT 104.1 bpm and is 95bpm, i know from when i detected it earlier), New bpm = 65bpm (which is correct because that's what i set my master tempo to), and length - 4 Bars. I sample 4 bars of the song into the sampler. I set my master BPM/tempo to 65pm which is what i want my sample to be as well.ģ. I listen to the sample with the metronome in the background to determine the tempo of the sample i want to use, which is 95bpm.Ģ. I've tried it again and this is what I did.ġ. This is extremely confusing to me, but i got this far and i'm not sure what to do in regards to this one major detail.Ĭlick to expand.I am only sampling 4 bars from the intended sample and only want to use 1 as a pattern. Would I have to stretch it in the sampler via guess work and a bunch of estimating the BPM and apply it before converting it to the audio module? Is there anyway I can change just the track tempo without changing the audio module or vice versa? My metronome is now useless and the only reference I have of my track tempo is the audio module.

How am I supposed to record new patterns according to the bpm of my audio module (that i resampled through my phone). Now, whenever I turn on the metronome, it is out of whack and not reflective of the speed of the speed i want, but my audio module is.

However, the whole track tempo changed as well and the tempo of the track and the tempo of my audio module are not synchronized to how i want them together. So I am late to the party, but i JUST learned how to realtime time stretch after not thinking it was possibleĪnyway, i have adjusted the tempo of my sample to how i want it.
