Secondly, we not only wanted each weapon to be unique, but to offer players a different application. With some of the weapons being very close to each other in design (looking at you Submachine Gun and Gatling Gun…) we had to find characterful rules to make each feel distinct. Firstly, they had to accurately represent the weapons from the original game, which sounds obvious, but on occasion represented interesting challenges.
